Different companies
employ different interview tactics and no two managers ever
have the same interview style.
Before your interview, you have no idea
which type of interview you are going to get, so
it's difficult to prepare.
Instead, you'll need to be able to
recognise the style of interview that your interviewer is
adopting, so that you can react and behave
accordingly.
It should be noted that most line
managers are actually pretty poor interviewers and they'll
often be as uncomfortable as you are, since few have had any
formal interview training. Even those who have, often had the
wrong type of training!
